Miss Brodie is a teacher, a formidable figure who moulds young minds to her form. She has her favourites, her crème de la crème, who admire Miss Brodie above all else. But Miss Brodie is not honest, she tells the girls to do as she says, not as she does. She is having an affair with the music teacher and has had one with the art teacher, and this is not the most exemplary conduct. Will her posturing and controlling nature lead to her betrayal and downfall? The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is at times comic, at times scandalous and always engaging.
